Fence Calculator

Work out everything you need for a complete concrete-post fence — panels, posts, gravel boards and post mix — then add it straight to your basket.

Enter the total length of your fence run and the finished height you want, then choose your panel style, post type and gravel boards.

The calculator works out the panels, posts, gravel boards and post mix you need — for example, a 6ft fence with a 12″ gravel board uses 5ft panels and 8ft posts (around 2ft of post set into the ground).

Concrete posts won't rot, warp or need treating — and panels simply slot in.

4Gravel boards

A concrete gravel board under each panel keeps the timber off the ground.

Gravel board height — 12″ gives more clearance on sloping or uneven ground.
